JODI'S BIOGRAPHY

Jodi's Cupboard was created in 1979 as a nutritional consulting business. I have been able to share nutritional information in a variety of ways, including:

• Hosting a daily radio program for 17 years
• Hosting a weekly television program for 3 years
• Serving as the Food and Nutrition Editor for the Saturday Evening Post
• Contributing to a variety of newspapers, magazines, and newsletters
• Speaking at over 500 churches, civic organizations, and professional groups
• Teaching a variety of cooking and nutrition classes
• Leading support groups for a variety of health problems
• Producing radio and television commercials for over 100 companies
• Producing and hosting a full length television and radio specials for a variety of businesses
• Working in a teaching capacity for numerous doctors and developing professional educational programs
• Working extensively with a number of school districts teaching nutrition to elementary, through high-school students in the Indianapolis area
• Author of A Gift of Health, a cookbook, and Steps to Better Health, a series of videotapes

Currently I have been consulting for several area doctors in private practice. I work extensively with allergies, yeast problems, hypoglycemia, cardiovascular problems, prenatal nutrition, children's special diets, weight loss, and general nutrition using diet and supplements.

Seven years ago I created a program for Mr. D's grocery stores, called Choice For Health. This program includes a quarterly newsletter, personally created recipes, numerous in-store demonstrations, special promotions, and advertising campaigns. The second aspect of the program is extensive training of the entire management staff in nutrition, food preparation, and trends in buying. This program has proven very successful and continues to expand.

I am a mother of five children ranging in age from 19 to 1 year old. This gives me the perfect opportunity to practically apply, test, and create new ways to improve lifestyles of all ages. I currently reside in Pittsboro, Indiana where my husband raises naturally grown cattle and crops.
